The history of the Neighborhoods of the Federal Republic is as old as the Cities themselves: the Kings of Grontolom and Cismarina began dividing the territory into different areas to govern it better and understand where all the services and buildings built over the years were needed.

Nowadays, for an area of the Sister Cities to be qualified as a Neighborhood, it must have certain characteristics: its own history, a reason for its existence, territorial specificity, representative buildings, and a main street or a MetroCismarina station.

The Federal Republic has now 20 Neighborhoods (15 for the City of Cismarina, 4 for the City of Grontolom and 2 for the City of Vestia), which have changed several times over time both in form and nomenclature.

The oldest is the Villa District, which includes the Villa of Cismarina (the first grand residence of the Kings and Governors to be built) and the Castle of Cismarina (the oldest military structure in Cismarina's history); one of the most recently established Neighborhoods is Adémia, which, despite being constituted by a village colonized for the first time during the Kings' Era, had never been previously integrated into the Republic's territory. Adémia is also the Neighborhood furthest from the historical center of the City at the time of writing this article.
